Evan Tail is a French DJ currently based in Berlin, known for his passion for vinyl records and voguing culture. His style draws heavily from the queer roots of house, disco, and techno, blending shimmering percussive sounds and early ballroom influences. The name Evan Tail is a playful nod to the French word éventail (fan), reflecting both his flair for dramatic clapping fan performances and the dynamic range of his music. He began his career playing with Ordinaire Records in Strasbourg and later at KALT Club, before immersing himself in Berlin’s vibrant club scene.
