Few artists have navigated Manchester’s underground with quite the same fluidity as RenzNiro.

Emerging from the fertile overlap between grime, experimental rap and the city’s wider leftfield music community, his work has steadily carved out a space where devotional introspection, razor-edged lyricism and exploratory production coexist without compromise.

Across a catalogue that has quietly grown in scope over recent years, RenzNiro has developed a voice defined as much by its emotional directness as its formal ambition. His music draws from grime’s intensity but rarely settles there, instead moving through ambient electronics, live instrumentation and fractured club influences with a confidence that feels truly instinctive, never self-conscious. The result is a sound which is at once deeply personal while remaining connected to a broader ecosystem of artists pushing at the edges of UK rap and contemporary sound. That world reaches its fullest expression yet on No Weapon Shall Prosper, RenzNiro;s debut mixtape released in July, 2026. Developed over several years alongside producer wudini and featuring contributions from collaborators including Klein, Space Afrika, 00ab, Ceesho and Big Animal Theory, the mixtape unfolds less as a collection of tracks than a document of creative evolution. Guitar, viola and saxophone drift through weightless electronics and heavy low-end pressure.
