Porch dayPLAY FOR PEACE Music is universal and powerful – “What if for one day everything stopped and we all just listened to the music?” Every year, musicians in thousands of cities in over 70 countries participate in the PLAY FOR PEACE Global Event, by making music in public spaces; outside on porches, in parks, on the street – to draw attention to humanities‘ universal desire for peace. The movement continues to grow and this year, Stuttgart will be part of the celebration with a free hour long „Play Music on the Porch“ concert at MERLIN on Saturday, August 29 from 18:00 hrs – 19:00 hrs featuring two ensembles; THE NEATLES and CAPPUCINO AFTER TWELVE presenting a surprisingly ecclectic mix of Folk, Pop, Blues and Country.
