Nada Yoga inspired deep listening session with Phil Richarde

Look forward to a 90-minute deep listening session of spiritual jazz, inspired by the ancient Indian tradition of Nada Yoga. The session will feature a selection of records interwoven with live instruments. We’ll also share a meditation and breathing practice to prepare body and mind for this journey. Nothing in the universe is truly still. Every object, every particle, everybody is in constant motion. Oscillating, resonating, pulsing at its own frequency by. Scientists call this resonance: the tendency of different vibrating things to gradually synchronise, as if drawn together by an invisible force. The Sanskrit word Nada (नादः) means sound, tone and vibration. In Nada Yoga (नादयोग), one of the oldest spiritual paths in India, the entire cosmos is woven from sound. Everything that exists is Nada a living vibration. Let yourself be carried by sound. Feel resonance arise between the outer world and the world within. Philipp Leisenberg aka Phil Richarde, is a certified yoga teacher, musician and record collector.
