Modus Weekender

Three festivals. Countless moments. And now, for the first time, Modus moves indoors.

On October 30 & 31, we open a new chapter with the Modus Weekender – two nights built around the same idea that has shaped Modus from the beginning: carefully selected artists, room for every set to unfold and a crowd that comes for the music.

The setting for this new chapter is the "Ehemaliges Hauptzollamt", situated in the heart of Hamburg’s UNESCO World Heritage Speicherstadt. Surrounded by canals and historic warehouses, the former customs office brings together monumental brick architecture, large window fronts, high ceilings and raw industrial spaces across two floors.

The lineup brings together artists closely connected to the Modus story and names joining us for the first time. Innellea, Kollektiv Turmstrasse Live and Britta Arnold return after memorable appearances over the past years, while Denis Horvat and Xinobi make their Modus debut. As always, selected artists from Hamburg’s local scene complete both nights.

For the Weekender, we’ll transform the building from the ground up. A powerful sound system, a large-scale LED wall, light installations and carefully designed details will reshape the historic space for two nights – creating a new environment for music, movement and everything that happens in between.
