UMZ UMZ: GROUNDED NOISE

Same shift, different frequency.
This Friday UMZ UMZ takes a detour. We’re trading the rolling basslines for something stranger: a night of IDM, broken acid and experimental electronics. Perhaps starting with some experiments is the proper strart to a party weekend. Or is it?

At the center of it: God is a Perfect Sine, the Rome–Berlin duo of Stefano Ferrari and Fabrizio Rossi, treating sound as raw material open to any kind of manipulation. Since forming in 2024 these Veterans have already played the OHM Sound Gallery at Tresor and Freefield Fest, and debuted on Stirpe999’s ‘Trincee’ compilation alongside D’Arcangelo and Cindytalk.

ma|ze b2b ____syrup move through intricate sound design, cinematic soundscapes, obscure samples and a healthy dose of noise, refusing binary logic on the decks and off.

Max Volume, co-founder of Kollage Kollectiv and a free-party kid from the Spiral Tribe days, cuts breakbeat, footwork, acid and avant-garde electronics together like a collage. Fifteen years of DIY energy, still running hot and crazy, yet unbothered and moisturised. In his lane so to say.
