MW:M26 HOUSE QUEENS: Rewire the dancefloor

Who gets booked, who gets heard, and who gets to shape the future of club culture?

As part of the MW satellite program, HOUSE QUEENS brings the REWIRE theme into practice by examining how access, visibility, and opportunities are distributed in electronic music.

Through a curated evening of panel discussions, DJ sets, and community exchange, the event brings together artists, industry professionals, and grassroots initiatives to challenge established booking structures and explore more equitable ways of shaping lineups.

Moving beyond representation alone, HOUSE QUEENS asks what meaningful structural change looks like: How can booking become more transparent? How do networks and gatekeeping influence who gets opportunities? And how can promoters, venues, collectives, and artists actively contribute to a more inclusive club culture?

Rooted in Berlin's FLINTA* and queer electronic music scene, the event creates a space for open dialogue across different perspectives and levels of the music industry. By connecting lived experience with industry insight, HOUSE QUEENS aims to turn conversation into action — rethinking not only who appears on the lineup, but who has the power to shape it.

REWIRE THE LINEUP. Rethink access. Redistribute opportunity. Shape the future of club culture.
