Sky Sounds: A-Side Berlin

High above the former Tempelhof Airport, house music meets one of Berlin's most remarkable locations.

'A-Side Berlin' brings its house music dance party for BIPoC, queer communities and their allies to the THF TOWER.

Now in its second year, 'Sky Sounds' is the THF TOWER's unique summer programme, bringing music, art and culture to the rooftop of the former Tempelhof Airport—one of Berlin's most historically significant landmarks. As part of the series, A-Side Berlin takes over the rooftop for one day, inviting the community to celebrate the final weeks of the Berlin summer together. Together we celebrate the seasonal closing of Sky Sounds in 2026.

A-Side Berlin is built around house music, community and lived diversity. The focus is on creating a respectful space where people from different backgrounds come together through music. The soundtrack moves between house classics, disco- and soul-infused selections and contemporary house, curated by A-Side founders Jana Falcon, Darwin Stapel and Tommes K. Brandt.

At the heart of A-Side is a simple wish from its founders: that everyone feels welcome, respected and free to be themselves: come as you are or as you want to be!

- From 5-7 PM, there will also be a live portrait session by multidisciplinary artist Darwin Stapel and onelineillustration. First come, first serve.
- Livestream of the DJ sets on THF Radio, followed by on-demand availability in the media library.
