In This City, I Have Loved

In This City, I Have Loved is an audiovisual poem for piano trio, performers, AI ensemble, and live visuals. It draws its inspiration from the book Last Words from Montmartre by Taiwanese writer Qiu Miaojin, who remains an icon of queer literature. The work adopts the book's fragmentary, poetic narrative style and transposes it to the present day by placing the literary source material in dialogue with the contemporary lives of queer migrants.
