Horsepower Club: Deepest Space

Somewhere, deep in space, there lies an unknown galaxy, hidden away. And in that galaxy, there is a party! We are thrilled to extend this interstellar invitation to earthly astronauts, cunty aliens, multi-dimensional beings, and all other glamorous voyagers in need of a good dance. Come as you are, or please dress up in galactic garments. We might even organise a best-dressed costume competition with some delicious prizes…but more on that later <3

And to serve our musical palettes, we will provide an expansive range of frequencies to enjoy!

MISSION PLAN:

21:00-23:00: Our close friend, Rare Highs, returns to us with an extended opening set. He will be traversing a deep and dubby pocket of space, with some slower, and low-end heavy rhythms. Think listening session spirit colliding with simple, but effective, grooves and dancefloor wobblers. Perfection!

23:00-01:30: Here comes Kiki Dolce! From Toronto to Berlin, this artist is making a name for herself here by providing silky, smooth House, Tech House, and Disco sounds. With deep basslines and warm, trippy melodies aplenty, why not come and melt away into Kiki’s sonic universe?

01:30-03:00: Living up to her name, Miss T Delight will be serving up an otherworldly, peak-time iteration of her unmistakable sound. Truly an eclectic selector and a delightful member of the local scene, come see why she is known for ‘’…weaving together diasporic rhythms, hip hop textures, and diverse electronic music influences to create space for joy, resistance, and connection on the dancefloor,’’.

03:00-04:30: Now, many light-years from our starting point, we have Casey Fable to guide us into darker and clubbier atmospheres. Considering his Techno prowess via releases on labels such as KEY Vinyl, NIX, and ANTIDOTE, and his collaborative Prog project with T-RAIL, Blue Desire; this set could go anywhere. So why not go along for the ride and see where his sound lands this time?

04:30-06:30: To end our journey through the cosmos, we have powerhouse Cheek resident 2727 and our close conspirator, Vytauras, going b2b. When these two come together, magic happens. Matched perfectly through their musical worlds, the duo have been reported to play warped Techno, ethereal Trance, glitchy Breaks, and so much more. So if you want the time to space out, expect no friction in their set; just flow, intuition, and a profound knowledge of each other’s libraries.
