Following the release of their debut EP Fantuzzi last year, the Berlin-based band continues to make a name for itself as one of the city's most captivating live acts.Garlands—named as a "femmage" to the Cocteau Twins' debut album—move between dream pop, shoegaze and noise rock. Originally founded in Hamburg by Catharina and Sui ,the project released its debut EP Turn the Sky on La Pochette Surprise in 2024. Now based in Berlin, Garlands has evolved into Catharina's solo project with a full live band, firmly rooted in the city's thriving psych and shoegaze scene.
