Farewell Youth Fest & Schoisaal präsentieren: Holder + Keeping Distance

Holder is a five piece post-hardcore/metalcore band based out of western Massachusetts, formed in 2024. Their sound consists of takeaways from early waves of screamo and emotional hardcore with bands such as This Day Forward, Joshua Fit For Battle, and Converge. They released their first self-titled EP in August of 2024, and later followed it up with the release of a two-song single titled, “Ruin The Best of Me”, in January of 2026. Since their first release in 2024, they’ve toured and have played shows across North America with similar acts such as Shai Hulud, Clay Birds, and Static Dress. Holder’s live shows have had a range of environments, with some having more of an intimate setting of a small packed room, to some having a more colossal setting, like their performance at the revival of Trustkill Records’ Hellfest, in 2025. Their extensive list of performances throughout only this one-year period of being a band greatly defines Holder as an ever growing, rapidly progressing unit. As the band continues to move forward with touring announcements and future releases, it can be quite difficult to predict what may be next on Holder’s radar.
