cleo reed & Matthew Jamal + Malva

A special double bill bringing together two distinct voices exploring the space between intimacy, experimentation and contemporary songwriting.

Cleo Reed is a multidisciplinary artist from New York and Washington, D.C. Her work moves between music, composition, instrument-making, performance and visual art, with a strong connection to Black underground music and its history. With a background in classical music, sound engineering and sound design, she brings a very distinct approach to songwriting and live performance.

Malva has been part of the Munich music scene for several years. Her music moves between indie, folk, jazz and chanson, with a strong focus on atmosphere, melody and storytelling. Together with her band, she has developed a sound that can be quiet and intimate while still filling an entire room.
