Im zuge des Trial & Error - DIY Music Labs unter dem Motto Music & Visuals” laden wir euch am 02.10.2026 ab 19:00 Uhr zu einem audiovisuellen Konzert ins MusikZentrum ein.Gemeinsam mit unserem Partner MACHINA BRISTRONICA aus Bristol haben wir zwei Artists-Partnerschaften geknüpft um die beiden Städte mehr miteinander zu verbinden. Whether holding an intimate atmosphere at a club or letting loose at Open Airs - she is known to be the one that gets people out of their seat onto their feet.Kat Davids started her DJ journey only a couple of years ago but is already making serious moves as a Berlin based newcomer - always striving to allow people to lose oneself in a musical journey for a night. She has played at some well-known institutions such as Tresor, Watergate, Refuge Worldwide, Revier Südost, Re:mise, Aeden, Weltspiele Hannover, Modular Cape Town and AND Club Johannesburg. Since November 2022 she also hosts her own regular show 'Spinning Grounds' at THF Radio Berlin and founded her own FLINTA* collective V.A. Femme* with workshops around DJng, live sets and producing. With an intimate space that feels raw and honest, Kat Davids produces music that seems like a personal note from her to you. Kats’ music is characterised by her own spoken words, singing, ambient & field recordings, synths and driving bass lines. Her debut single release “dust” on Intercept Records will be followed by an EP release in autumn 2023.AVHSBerlin-based generative visual artist and VJ AVHS is known for her colorful and expressive style. She transforms music into vibrant, interactive visuals and embraces playful tools - from X-box controllers to drawing pads - bringing a sense of joy and experimentation to her dynamic real-time performances. She is part of VJ Open Lab and in 2024 she founded the TouchDesigner Hang-Outs. The community meetups take place in venues all around Berlin, giving beginners and professionals alike the chance to jam on the big screens of the city, focussing on playful experimentation and meeting irl.EVO ETHELEvo Ethel is a Welsh multi-instrumentalist, sound artist, and improviser currently based in Bristol; their solo practise weaves together elements of free-jazz, musique concrète, and electro-acoustic experimentation, often using objects, woodwind, and electronics to create fractured soundscapes layered with noise led, multi-phonic woodwind. They have performed solo at En Masse Festival (Bristol), alongside Mariam Rezaei at Cafe Oto (London), and took part in a one-off duo performance alongside Bridget Ferrill for the ‘Improvised and Experimental’ series at Hosek Contemporary (Berlin).Rooted in Bristol’s DIY and experimental scenes, Evo’s group work with Ex Agent and Foot Foot has led to a mix of improvised, and non-improvised performances alongside Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Mark Stewart and Gareth Sager (The Pop Group), and Deb Googe (My Bloody Valentine). As a co-founder of the No Clique event series with Improv’s Greatest Hits, Evo collaboratively curates evenings of one off, spontaneous musical groups championing an ethos of unpredictability, and community led experimentation.' AGE ETERNALAge Eternal creates transcendental, hypnotic soundscapes that intertwine the heavy and the weightless, unifying light and darkness. Her voice as her most powerful tool and experimental electronic sound design merge to form a portal to other realms and states of consciousness.LUC AMADENLuc Amaden is a digital artist currently based in Bristol. He mainly creates experimental 3D video art. He has also created visuals for musicians such as Hudson Mohawke, Bring Me The Horizon and Brick Nasty. His work has been seen at The O2 Arena, Download Festival, Rock Im Park, and all over the world.MOMOMomo is a visual artist working at the intersection of light, space and music since 2019. The focus lies on generative projection mapping: architecture, stages and objects become the canvas for visuals generated in real time, continuously recomposing themselves in response to music, space and audience.Selected work includes main-stage mappings at festivals such as SNNTG Festival, as well as several years as the mapping artist for the Hannover-based collective CLX, helping shape its visual signature across numerous events.
