Upstream: RESONATE

Concert Series for New Music and Performance

Resonance deepens, clarifies and strengthens sound. Two resonating waves amplify each other’s trajectory, a symbiosis resulting in shared transcendence of form. ‘To resonate’ also means to strike a personal or emotional chord with someone else. The three artists in this program situate themselves within resonant landscapes, sonic and emotional, in order to amplify what might otherwise lie dormant beneath the noise.
