Recording and performing under the alias 7038634357, New York based musician Neo Gibson composes ambient music shaped by formal precision, melodic structure, and an idiosyncratic emotional tenor. Synthesized and recorded entirely on computer, their sounds are built with soft noises and harmonies, rhythmic cuts, and heavily processed melodies, building an expansive, charged space moving between raw digital textures, pop, and vast ambient fields. 7038634357’s most recent album, Waterfall Horizon, was released in 2025 by Blank Forms Editions.

7038634357 has composed the sound of Rafik Greiss’ The City and the City, the artist’s newly commissioned film currently on view in his eponymous exhibition at KW. Gibson’s one-hour performance at KW can be experienced lying down, on a soft carpet currently installed on the fourth floor as part of KOO JEONG A’s installation { SEVEN STARS }.
